Great assistance is given to persons living with epilepsy annually to offset the costs of their doctor's visits, medical tests, treatments, and medications.
EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS
Much of our educational focus has been to give discussions at schools and with parents and caregivers about the condition of epilepsy.
COMMUNITY AWARENESS
One of our major yearly campaigns is to plan events and seminars with key stakeholders to increase knowledge about epilepsy.
Persons with epilepsy in Jamaica desperately have to receive well-needed assistance with medical care and costly medication.
