FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The Jamaican Epilepsy Association (JEA) is a registered non-profit organization that advocates for the rights of people with epilepsy ensuring that they have access to needed services, and works to raise awareness of epilepsy. JEA seeks to reduce the stigma of persons living with epilepsy and create a more welcoming and inclusive society.
We believe art is a fantastic expression of life. In addition:
1. Some of these pieces were made by persons living with epilepsy
2. The sale of these items allow us to help in different ways to provide for the persons living with epilepsy community
3. The pieces were mostly donated by Jamaican & Caribbean artisans who have a passion for Jamaican culture, its exploration and use to better the society.
